Barça to Host Inaugural Fixture at Partially Completed Camp Nou over the weekend
The club confirmed their first game will take place at the still-under-construction Camp Nou on Saturday. Athletic Bilbao will visit Athletic Bilbao in La Liga over two years after they moved out so building work could begin.

Not all seats will be available but 45,401 spectators are permitted inside based on approved permits. When completed, the Camp Nou is due to hold over 104,000 attendees, increasing from the former 99,000. Barça announced recent additions comprise an updated entryway for the team plus modern locker rooms.
Stadium Testing
The club conducted a public practice inside the stadium on 7 November. Officials stated approval is being pursued from European football’s governing body to host the next European match facing Eintracht next month at the stadium. Previous fixtures took place in the temporary ground.
